New Delhi, June 7: The Supreme Court today refused to set aside a lower court order directing doctor couple Nupur and Rajesh Talwar to face trial in the murder case of their daughter Aarushi.
The bench said an earlier bail plea by Nupur was infructuous. She will now have to appeal afresh in the top court against an Allahabad High Court order denying bail to her. Rajesh is out on bail.
Aarushi was found murdered inside her Noida house in 2008.
