Arms seizure in raids
Gaya: Security personnel recovered 40 detonators, nine hand-grenades, 50 half-prepared hand grenades, three rifles, a computer set, four walkie talkies, Naxalite literature and other items during raids conducted in the hilly areas of Lutua and Chhakarbandha under Imamganj police station late on Saturday evening.
he raids continued till Sunday morning. During the raids carried out jointly by CoBRA battalion, CRPF and the district armed police, the personnel also destroyed three bunkers of Maoists.
Gaya: Around 100 packets of explosives weighing 1kg each were recovered on Saturday evening. The packets were kept at the bottom of a hill near Abgila under Mufassil police station area.

CBI probe cry
Patna: The BJP on Sunday claimed it was willing to request the state government to recommend for a CBI probe in the murder of Brahmeshwar “Mukhiya”. The party’s Bihar president C.P. Thakur took a dig at RJD chief Lalu Prasad for showing sympathy for “Mukhiya”. Thakur also praised director-general of police Abhayanand for showing restraint during the disturbances in Patna.
