Asoke Ghosh

Calcutta, June 3: Forward Bloc state secretary Asoke Ghosh, 90, was today admitted to Calcutta’s Apollo Hospital with chest pain.

Party sources said Ghosh had developed the pain last night. According to a hospital spokesperson, Ghosh is being treated by heart specialist Subrata Ghosh. “His condition is stable,” the doctor added.

Tamluk: A high school teacher in East Midnapore was caught on Saturday night bribing a labourer whose daughter he had allegedly raped and murdered 10 days ago.
