Four hurt in clash
Jorhat, May 30: Four policemen suffered minor injuries in a scuffle with a mob, which ransacked the Lohitporiya gaon panchayat office in Majuli today. The police resorted to blank firing to disperse the mob, which was staging a protest alleging largescale anomalies in the job-card scheme.
