Tata Global net

Mumbai, May 23: Tata Global Beverages today said its consolidated net profit for the March quarter declined 36.4 per cent to Rs 54.21 crore, despite an 11 per cent rise in sales. The maker of Tetley and Tata Tea had posted a net profit of Rs 85.24 crore during the same period of the previous fiscal because of a profit on sale of shares.

New Delhi, May 23: Retirement fund manager EPFO will take a decision on the proposal for fixing the minimum monthly pension for its 50 million subscribers at Rs 1,000 at the meeting of its trustees on Friday.

Gas pact

New Delhi, May 23: Turkmenistan today signed agreements to sell gas to India and Pakistan through the $7.6-billion Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India pipeline.

TechM show

New Delhi, May 23: IT firm Tech Mahindra today said its net profit had increased more than three-fold to Rs 302.5 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 from Rs 92.1 crore in the same period last year.

Bhel profit

New Delhi, May 23: State-run Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (Bhel) has posted a nearly 21 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 3,379.81 crore for the March quarter against Rs 2,798.04 crore in the year-ago period.
