Calcutta: A fresh battle for honours will begin at the Royal Calcutta Golf Club when the Royal Juniors Open, the fourth leg of the Tata Steel IGU East Zone Junior/ Sub-Junior Tour tees off, on Wednesday.
The two-day event will see around 60 talented kids vying for honours in five age-group categories. Gurkirat Singh, who has already won two out of the three earlier events, renews his duel with Sunit Chowrasia, the only other winner in the previous legs of the 9-leg East Zone series.
Gurkirat’s success and form makes him a firm favourite.
