Manipur hold Goa to 2-2 draw

Imphal, May 22: Manipur held Goa 2-2 to enter the semi-final of the 66th National Football Championship for Santosh Trophy in Odisha. Manipur prevailed over Goa on better goal average en route to the semi-final. Kh. Thoi Singh and M. Govind Singh scored for Manipur.

In the quarter-final, Manipur beat Meghalaya 1-0 and drubbed Uttar Pradesh 6-0.

Cleared

The All Manipur Football Association has given the green signal to three teams, Eastern Sporting Union, Jasmat Songtum Youth Club, Kangpokpi and Kuki Sporting Union Old Lambulane, to participate in the 7th Manipur State League.
