Foresters stung
Alipurduar, May 16: Three forest staff members of Jaldapara National Park were attacked by swarms of bees for more than half an hour this morning.
While Ajoy Ghosh and Deben Narjinary have been admitted to Jalpaiguri hospital, Tapan Sarkar was released after first aid at Madarihat block health centre. Foresters said Ghosh and Narjinary are out of danger.
Driver hurt
Siliguri/Jaigaon: The assistant driver of the Bihar-bound Capital Express was injured when passengers of an Alipurduar-bound train that was running three hours late threw stones at Carron station on Wednesday. One of the stones struck Mukesh Kumar on the head. He was taken to Malbazar for treatment.
