Tolgay controversy

A day after Tolgay Ozebe officially joined Mohun Bagan, he was slapped with a show-cause notice by East Bengal asking him to reply within the next 48 hours. According to club officials, a player cannot switch allegiance to another club before the season ends. They also claimed Tolgay had taken an advance amount last Saturday. Club officials said a copy of the voucher has been forwarded to Indian Football Association (IFA) secretary Utpal Ganguli, but the secretary said he has not received any such thing.
