Mumbai, May 12: India’s foreign exchange reserves dwindled $2.19 billion to $293.17 billion because of a fall in the core foreign currency assets and gold reserves. The reserves had registered an addition of $758 million to $295.36 billion in the previous reporting week. Foreign currency assets dropped $1.77 billion to $259.19 billion for the week ended May 4.
Calcutta, May 12: Birla Corporation has posted a turnover of Rs 2,596.82 crore for the fiscal ended March 31, 2012 against Rs 2,436.81 crore last year. For the quarter ended March 31, turnover was Rs 739.98 crore against Rs 665.96 crore in the year-ago period.
Calcutta, May 12: Emami has reported a 15.3 per cent rise in consolidated turnover for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2012 at Rs 404 crore. Consolidated turnover for the full year rose 16.6 per cent to Rs 1,454 crore.
