The music launch of Subrata Sen’s Koyekti Meyer Galpo at Planet M (Mani Square Mall) on Thursday afternoon found Parno Mittra strumming a guitar. “I learned to play the guitar while shooting for Ranjana Ami Aar Ashbona!” she reminded us. Chandan Roy Chowdhury has composed five songs for Koyekti Meyer Galpo. Though gearing up for a mid-May release, the film hasn’t yet got the censor signal. “Yes, I am waiting for the censor certificates. The film is about five girls who are escorts,” said Subrata. Also present at the launch were co-stars Locket Chatterjee and Tanusree, and singer Raghab Chatterjee. “I play Tania, who is the boss of the escort service where the rest of the girls work. I have never played a character like this before,” smiled Locket. The other girls in Koyekti Meyer Galpo are Raima Sen and Mumtaz Sorcar. Pictures by Pabitra Das
