Shillong: Lajong FC will hope to finish their I-League campaign on a happy note when they take on Salgaocar in their last match of the league, at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, here, on Friday.
Lajong had lost to Salgaocar 1-2 in the first leg encounter.
Speaking to reporters on the eve of the match, Salgaocar coach Karim Bencharifa had words of praise for Lajong’s style of play. According to him, Lajong and Salgaocar are one of the few I-League teams who play positive football.
