Techie found

Howrah, April 28: Amaresh Manna, the engineer who was allegedly abducted on his way back from Dhulagarh on Wednesday, was found by police and his brother at Malda town railway station at 8.30am today.

Amaresh, who claimed he had been locked up in a rice mill in North Dinajpur’s Hemtabad and released after a ransom was paid, had earlier taken money from relatives and neighbours in Haldia to set up mobile phone towers but failed to do so, the police said.
