Six die in road collision

Gaya: Six persons, including a newly wed man, died when the car they were travelling in collided with an anti-landmine vehicle on Tuesday. he accident took place under Mufassil police station of Aurangabad district. The bride, Suman Devi, along with two other occupants of the vehicle, has been admitted to Anugrah Narayan Medical College and Hospital in a serious condition.

Platform ticket

Patna: Platform tickets would cost Rs 5 with effect from May 1. Earlier, the ticket was worth Rs 3, said East Central Railway chief public relations officer Neeraj Ambashtha. The decision to revise platform ticket rates was announced in the railway budget for 2012-13.

Special train

Patna: East Central Railway has planned to run summer special train between Indore and Patna to avoid the rush during summer vacation. East Central Railway chief public relations officer Neeraj Ambashtha said the Indore-Patna summer special train (09305/09306) will run twice a week (Monday & Thursday). The service will start from May 3 and continue till June 28.

Gaya: CBI sleuths on Tuesday arrested an income tax department inspector, Neeraj Kumar, for allegedly accepting Rs 10,000 as bribe for clearing the audit of Jan Shikshan Sansthan.
