Selection

Guwahati, April 3: The Guwahati Sports Association will hold a selection trial at the Hengerabari Basketball Coaching Centre here from 6am tomorrow to select the district sub-junior team for the All Assam Inter-district Basketball Championship. Players born on or after April 1, 1999 will be eligible for the camp.

Silver for Assam: Assam bagged the silver medal in the sub-junior boys’ team event in the 37th junior and sub-junior national carom championship under way in Faridabad. Assam lost to Tamil Nadu 1-2 in the final yesterday. Earlier, the Assam boys finished third in the junior boys’ team event.
