Murder accused in net

Patna: Police on Wed-nesday nabbed Ambuj Singh and Babu Singh from Dehri in Rohtas and Dhanbad (in Jharkhand) respectively in connection with the murder of CPI-ML(Liberation) leader Bhaiya Ram Yadav. wo other named accused, Manu Singh and Dablu Singh, had surren-dered in court on March 20.

Arrest

Sasaram: Eight members of an inter-district gang of highway robbers were arrested in the Mohania police station area of Rohtas and four country-made pistols, a truck and an SUV were seized.

Vigilance case

Patna: A confiscation case was filed against former computer programmer of district rural development authority, Patna, Amitabh Arun, mother Ratna Ganguli and wife Nupur Arun by the state government in the special vigilance court on Wednesday in connection to flood relief scam case.

Patna: Police have asked all private security agencies in the district to come up with a list of their armed personnel to verify their weapon licences.
