Azad encounter

New Delhi, March 16 (PTI): The Supreme Court today said a CBI probe had established that the killing of top Maoist leader Cherukuri Rajkumar alias Azad and journalist Hemchandra Pandey by Andhra Pradesh police in July 2010 was not a fake encounter.

2G bench

New Delhi: A special two-judge bench of Justices G.S. Singhvi and A.K. Patnaik has been set up by Chief Justice S.H. Kapadia to hear all cases arising out of the 2G scam, in view of the large number of petitions being filed after the court cancelled 122 telecom licences.

Kazmi role

New Delhi: Delhi police said on Friday arrested journalist Mohammad Ahmad Kazmi was part of the conspiracy behind the bombing of an Israeli embassy vehicle. Commissioner B.K. Gupta said he helped three suspected Iranian nationals conduct a recce of the embassy a month before the February 13 attack.
