Calcutta: The ECB on Tuesday announced that Nottinghamshire allrounder Samit Patel has been awarded an England increment contract for 2011-12.
Patel qualifies by virtue of having played nine one-dayers, five against India in October and four during the current tour of the UAE, and one T20 International for England.
