February 21 at Sri Aurobindo Bhavan, 8 Shakespeare Sarani; 6pm: The Mother’s Jayanti Function with reading by Dipak Mukherjee, recitation by Debashish Mitra, song by Debarati Som and talk by Prof. Biswanath Ray. Jayanti meditation will be held around the shrine from 7.30pm - 8pm. February 21 at Mohor Kunj; 6pm: A musical afternoon featuring Cactus lead vocalist Sidhu to raise awareness about a movement to bring all children back to school, organised by Save The Children.

February 21 at Sisir Mancha; 5pm: Suchetana Academy and Calcutta Indo-Bangladesh Cultural Centre host Aa Mori Bangla Bhasha, a programme in memory of the martyrs of the language revolution. Sankha Ghosh, Alokranjan Dasgupta, Goutam Ghose, Bibhas Chakraborty and others will pay their respects. Kabir Suman, Alok Roy Chowdhury, Utpal Fakir O Sahaj Maa, Shukla Pradhan, Upali Chattopadhyay and others will present songs.
