Injury woes for Bagan

Mohun Baganís injured trio, Jose Ramirez Barreto, Hudson Lima and Syed Rahim Nabi, will be out of action for three, seven and two weeks, respectively.

Barretoís MRI reports showed that the striker has a grade 1+ tear in the left adductor magnus muscle with oedema and peri-fascial fluid. Limaís has a partial tear in his right ankle.

Nabiís MRI reports suggested he is suffering from a grade 1 tear of the distal aspect of the right biceps femoris with minimal peri-fascial oedema.

Archery squad

Rahul Banerjee and Mangal Singh Champia returned to the menís recurve team at the expense of Tarundeep Rai and Atanu Das, as the Indian archery squad was named for the Asian Grand Prix at Bangkok from February 14 to 20.

Customs & Central Excise defeated India Post by nine wickets in an India Post Cup match, on Wednesday.
