Pesu on power tussle

Patna: Patna Electric Supply Undertaking’s Patliputra division executive engineer V.K. Srivastava on Monday asked Parul Singh, the tenant at Sunetra Ray’s house at SK Puri, to furnish more documents to support her claim for getting electricity connection restored to her institute. rivastava said the matter would be heard on February 16.

Suspension

Patna: Chief minister Nitish Kumar on Monday directed Nawada superintendent of police to immediately suspend Rupo police station house officer Gauri Shankar Pandey for allegedly assaulting an aged man, Abdul Rashid Khan.

Fish export

Patna: Animal and fish resources minister Giriraj Singh on Monday said Bihar would start exporting fish to other states by the end of 2015. He was addressing a seminar on “Implementation of schemes under public private partnership mode in fisheries development”.

Film package

Patna: Cinepolis will offer a special package worth Rs 299 for couples on Valentine’s Day. Four films, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein, Agneepath and Ek Main aur Ekk Tu will be screened. The package will include tickets, popcorn and a dance.

Goa trip

Patna: Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) will conduct a seven-night tour for Goa named “Go Goa” from February 18, 2012. IRCTC has fixed Rs 7,000 as the charge per person for the tour.
