Norway children

New Delhi/Oslo, Jan. 25: The ordeal of two Indian children separated from their parents by Norwegian childcare authorities may end soon following an agreement between Delhi and Oslo today to hand over their custody to a Bengal-based uncle.

Under the agreement, which ends an eight-month custody row, Abhigyan, 3, and his sister Aishwarya, 1, will be given to their paternal uncle Arunabhash.

“I thank the media... I have not seen the agreement and the conditions,” Arunabhash, 27, said.

Arunabhash, a dentist based in Kulti town, said he would leave for Norway soon to bring the children back.
