New Delhi, Jan. 24: Raipurs Mana airport will now be called Swami Vivekananda Airport as the Union cabinet at a meeting chaired by Manmohan Singh today approved the renaming.
This will fulfil the long pending demand of the people of Chhattisgarh as well as the government of Chhattisgarh, an official release said. Swami Vivekananda spent a long part of his life in Raipur.
Air India, Jet Airways and Kingfisher operate 85 domestic flights every week to and from Raipur.
