Gang kingpin caught
Patna: Chotu Dom, who escaped from Patna Medical College and Hospital on December 4, has been arrested in connection with the robbery at postal department accountant Satyanandan Kumar’s house last Thursday.

Patna: A gang of criminals planning a dacoity was arrested on Sunday near SK Puri petrol pump under Bypass police station in Patna City. Four country-made pistols, seven live cartridges, four cellphones were recovered.
Patna: Five persons, including two minors who were trying to cut through the asbestos roof of a medicine shop in the Buddha Colony area, were arrested on Sunday night when people sleeping near the area raised an alarm. A laptop and four mobile phones were found on them.
Patna: More than 7,500 lawyers associated with the three groups of Patna High Court advocates abstained from court duty on Monday to protest the near collapse of stamp reporting in the high court, resulting in the undue delay in disposal of cases, said senior advocate Yogesh Chandra Verma, the chairman of the associations’ co-ordination committee.
