Suicide shock in morning
Patna: A 23-year-old youth allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his Magadh Bihar Colony home under Rupaspur police station on Friday morning.
shutosh Kumar was a student of MBA at BIT Mesra in Ranchi. Police said when the boy did not open the door, the family members broke it to find him hanging by his muffler. No suicide note was recovered.
Patna: Bihar State Electricity Board on Friday notified the imposition of fuel surcharge of 43 paise per unit for October, the board’s spokesman H.R. Pandey said. The amount of surcharge would be realised in the electricity bill of January 2012. The surcharge would not be imposed on farmers and families below poverty line.
Patna: Deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi on Friday announced that traders can use the gateway of Central Bank of India for making e-payments through any of the 40 main banks functioning in Bihar. Modi said the new facility was very useful as traders would have to pay a common fee while using the gateway facility.
