Basant Kumar Birla and Sarla Birla are welcomed at Marumela 2011, the silver jubilee anniversary celebrations of Marudhara, on December 17 at Shivam Gardens (14A DL Khan Road). The two-day fair, which focused on the colourful traditions of Rajasthan, had folk dances like Ghoomar and Gair, soulful music by Swaroop Khan of Indian Idol fame, handicraft and food stalls. “We want our young generation to understand and celebrate the culture of Rajasthan,” said Aruna Biyani of Marudhara.
