Calcutta: Dandified, a star in the making, will be seen in action in the early weekend’s back-to-back fixtures, starting from Friday. There are 17 races in total during the two-day programme. Friday’s main attraction, in the nine-event card, the 2,000m Maharajadhiraja Uday Chand Mahtab Of Burdwan Memorial Trophy, will see seven thorough stayers lined up for the prestigious event. Saturday, on the other hand, is going to be the day one waited for long as the prized colt Dandified will be out to demonstrate everything a star is expected to do, in the Calcutta 2000 Guineas, a terms race over 1,600m, which has also attracted seven runners.
