Kokrajhar, Dec. 6: In a joint operation by the 15th Dogra Regiment and Assam police today, three cadres of Adivasi Dragon Fighters were apprehended in two different operations in Gossaigaon and Kachugaon in Kokrajhar district.
A hand-grenade, one 7.65mm pistol, five rounds of ammunition, two country-made 7.62mm rifles, four bullets of 7.62 calibre and demand notes were seized from them.
The arrested cadres have been identified as Someswar Soren and Rabiram Soren of Basbari village under Gossaigaonpolice station and Sunil Hasda of Majigaon village under Kachugaon police station in the district.
