PSO gun goes off
Jorhat, Nov. 21: The carbine of the personal security officer of BSNL general manager M. Muni Shekhar here went off accidentally and three shots were fired in succession inside the GM’s car this evening. The bullets pierced and passed through the car. The security officer was inside the car when the carbine went off.

Suicide
Dhubri:
Monoj Das, 21, of Taloa village under Tamarhat police station of Dhubri district reportedly committed suicide by hanging from a tree near his residence on Sunday night night.
