RJD chief kin dies

Gopalganj, Nov. 20 (PTI): RJD chief Lalu Prasadís elder brother Gulab Chand Yadav died after a protracted illness in the district last night, sources said today.

Gulab Chand died on way to a hospital in Chhapra. He is survived by his wife, two daughters and a son. He was 75.

The last rites of Gulab Chand, who was a former block pramukh of Phulwaria, will be performed after Lalu reaches Phulwaria village from New Delhi, sources said.

Chief minister Nitish Kumar expressed grief at Gulab Chandís death. In a condolence message, he said he would pray to the almighty to give strength to the family to bear the loss.
