Sen’s girls

Director Subrata Sen is ready with the script and cast for his next film after Nandini (which is slated for an early January release).

The tentatively titled Koyekti Meyer Galpo will star Parno Mittra, Rii and Tanusree. Subrata is also in talks with Raima Sen.

The film revolves around four women who lead dark, shady lives. “All of them are escorts. Parno plays someone who is blackmailing an industrialist. Rii is the wife of a don and Tanusree runs an escort service. The other role is of a drug addict who gets into the escort business to take revenge on someone,” said Subrata.

Koyekti Meyer Galpo would be slightly bizarre, in terms of treatment. I have long wanted to do this kind of a film. There are some very strong sexual scenes in the film which might border on the weird!” added the maker of Ek Je Achhe Konya, now scouting for male actors.

The crew comprises cinematographer P.B. Chaki and Chandan Roy Chowdhury, who will compose five songs. The film is a joint production of Subrata Sen Communications and Algos International.

Calcutta apart, a major chunk of the film will be shot in Shankarpur. Koyekti Meyer Galpo hits the floors in end-December.
