Inspector held

Guwahati, Nov. 3: RPF personnel today arrested an inspector of the special force, Kanwaldeep Singh Sidhu, from Guwahati railway station around 10 last night.

KMSS dharna

Dhubri: Dhubri district unit of KMSS staged a dharna in front of Dhubri Asom Sahitya Sabha Bhawan demanding support prices of jute, tea, paddy and mustard on Thursday.

Protest

Dhubri: The Dhubri District Share Autorickshaw Association will stage a dharna in front of Dhubri district transport office on November 11 to protest against the government notification issued on May 24 to realise tax at one go.It wants the autorickshaw drivers be allowed to pay the taxes quarterly.
