| In the middle of some heart-stopping action |
l revved up after attending the Singapore Grand Prix held at the Marina Bay Street Circuit last month, model Ushoshi Sengupta shares her album with t2 and gives some pointers on the wheres, whats and whys of Singapore…
First look
The first thing that struck me about Singapore is that its probably one of the cleanest cities in the world! When I shared my thought with Miss Singapore, she said if one litters here, one can be fined 100 dollars. I was like No wonder!
The roads are awesome. You just feel like driving around all day. Beautiful hotels, beautiful architecture.... Singapore is very organised too. Taxi drivers cannot mislead you. Cabs are fitted with a monitor that shows whether you are going the right way.
The race
You cannot describe F1 races in words. It is speed, it is action… it is a lot like standing next to an airplane taking off! You will be given earplugs. You will not feel like leaving the pit till the races are over. It is an experience of a lifetime! I was never an F1 fan till I actually went for the races. I have come back as a fan and Ill go for the Indian Grand Prix too. It is something that everyone should experience once. And can you believe it, they were playing Dola re dola and Dhoom tana during the races?

Party places
We went to Pangaea to party. It was awesome! We also went to the Amber Lounge, which is the lounge that travels with F1 races. I think DJ Aqeel is playing for the Amber Lounge in India. I met him and his wife (jewellery designer Farah Khan Ali) at the Amber Lounge. It was one of the most happening parties that I have ever been to.
We had Ludacris (American rapper and actor) and Taio Cruz (English singer-songwriter and rapper) partying with us! Even Taio Cruz knows Chammak challo (Ra.One). Ludacris said his biggest fans were from India.
Singapore is the hottest party destination because you can party till six or seven in the morning! The clubs are huge. The music is great. What energy! My four days were crazy fun!

Sip and bite
I discovered this drink while I was in Singapore… champagne with cranberry juice. It was one of the best drinks I have had. It was a very girlie drink. I also tried this baked chicken, a starter, which was really good. Back in Bombay, I had to head straight for detox (laughs)!
shop talk
I shopped so much! You can indulge in shoes, make-up and hair products. I picked up a lot of shoes and hair products from Singapore.
Last word
It was one of my best experiences. You just have to be there and soak it all in!
