CBS win by 5 wickets

Calcutta Boys’ School (CBS) beat St Lawrence High School by five wickets on Day 9 of 9th Inter School T20 Cricket Tournament organised at St Lawrence School Ground, on Thursday.

CBS scored 115 in 20 overs.

In a Group B match, Nava Nalanda High School beat St Xavier’s Collegiate School by eight runs. St Xavier’s could only manage to score 156 for seven wickets.

In semi-final on Saturday, St Lawrence will play Nava Nalanda, while St Thomas Church will take on South Point.

Kannan aid

Narendrajyoti, an organisation formed by some ex-students of Narendrapur Ramkrishna Mission, on Thursday donated Rs 10,000 to former India footballer T. Kannan, who is undergoing treatment at SSKM Hospital.
