Guwahati, Oct. 20: Moran Town Club will meet Tinsukia Divisional Railway Sports Club in the final of the 8th Capt. Jintu Gogoi football tournament in Dibrugarh on Saturday.

In the semi-finals, Tinsukia defeated Gargaon Football Coaching Centre 5-3. Moran got a walkover after 2/11 Gorkha Rifles team did not turn up on time.

Memorial table tennis: The 9th Late Imlitemjen Memorial Open Table Tennis Tournament, organised by the Mokokchung District Table Tennis Association got under way today at the Badminton Stadium, Mokokchung. Around 50 paddlers will participate in the meet.

Jeet Kune meet: The Jeet Kune Do Association of Assam will organise the 1st all Assam Jeet Kune championship at the Sarusajai sports complex here from October 22 to 23.

The state squads for the 24th National Jeet Kune Championship and National School Games will be named from the meet.
