Calcutta: Police AC goalkeeper Panchanan Mitra was killed in a road accident in the wee hours of Saturday. The incident happened near Dankuni. Mitra was returning from his duty, when a lorry hit his motorcycle from behind.

The 27-year old goalkeeper was a regular with the police team, which was participating in the ongoing CFL Premier Division.
