Bus driver mows 7

Jaipur, Oct. 5 (PTI): A bus driver, furious after a row over fares, today allegedly ran over 17 passengers soon after they had got off the vehicle, crushing seven to death.

Ten persons were injured in the incident, which occurred in Rajasthan’s Karauli district, 160km from here. All the victims were from Agra.

The passengers, on their way to Keladevi temple, had an argument with the driver. They thrashed the driver and left for the temple. The driver then ran them over, police said. The driver is absconding. A case has been registered.
