Jorhat, Sept. 21:
The Royal Thai embassy in India has proposed to establish a Thai studies corner at the Institute of Tai Studies and Research at Moranhat in Sivasagar district. A three-member delegation will visit the institute on Sunday and donate books, CDs and DVDs.
The regional office of the Central Bank of India suspended the chief cashier of its Gar Ali branch, Rajib Gogoi, on Wednesday on charges of fraudulently withdrawing money from the accounts of over 10 customers.
