An NDFB cadre, Dinobondu Rai, 23, of Bahakati in Dhubri district, was apprehended during the encounter.

Two pistols, four magazines, a Chinese grenade, 14 live ammunition, five empty cartridges and some mobile handsets were found on the cadres, the police said.
