Jagan meet after FIR

Hyderabad, Aug. 31: Jaganmohan Reddy has called a meeting of his loyalist MLAs and MPs tomorrow following the Enforcement Directorate’s FIR against him.

The UPA government’s “renewed thrust” against Jagan will be discussed at the meeting to be held at the YSR Congress chief’s Banjara Hills home, party spokesperson Ambati Rambabu said.

The Kadapa MP, who was touring Krishna district, is said to have contacted his advocates and managers in Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad on the future course of action.

Both the Supreme Court and Andhra Pradesh High Court have dismissed his applications against the CBI and Enforcement Directorate inquiries.

Jagan returned to Hyderabad this evening and held a meeting with senior party leaders.
