Patna surgeon elected
Patna:
Orthopaedic surgeon Dr Amulya Kumar Singh has been elected as the president of central zone orthopaedic association at the annual conference, which was held in Varanasi from August 26 to 28. round 500 surgeons from UP, MP, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Bihar had attended the conference, which focussed on the recent advancements in orthopaedics.
Meeting
Patna:
Myanmar ambassador to India U. Zin Yaw called on Governor Devanand Konwar and chief minister Nitish Kumar separately. During his meetings, the diplomat discussed about the development of Buddhist tourist destinations in the state.
