Animals die in zoo

Agartala, Aug. 2 (PTI): The zoo in Tripura’s Sipahijala wildlife sanctuary, about 20km from here, recently witnessed the death of three exotic animals — an emu, a bear cub and a Himalayan leopard sources said today.

New officer

Aizawl (PTI): Mizoram is likely to be on the Indian hydrocarbon map soon with nine foreign and indigenous companies undertaking exploration in the state, state industries minister S. Hiato said here on Tuesday.
