Ridden well off the pace till into the home stretch, the Major Impact-Sandslash son sliced the opposition, to catch up with Severstahl who had build up a sizeable lead inside the last furlong of the race. Jockey Y.S. Srinath partnered the 6-1 chance to victory. The Pronto’s stablemate, Romantique, placed third, ahead of the two fancied runners in the 17-horse field — Lovely Kiss and Star Marquess.RESULTS
