MP alleges threat

Patna: Vijay Kumar Sinha, the BJP MLA from Lakhisarai on Sunday claimed to have received a threat call. he call on the MLA’s mobile, which came in the morning, was recorded by the MLA and then forwarded to the police. Police sources said that the caller threatened to kill the MLA.

Contraband

Gaya: Thirty bags of marijuana weighing around 15 quintals from a house at village Piprahi under Barachatti police station was recovered on Sunday.

Run over

Bagaha: Three persons were killed while crossing the railway track between Khair Pokhra and Bhairodih railway station under Samastipur division of the East Central Railway on Saturday night.

Wall collapse

Darbhanga: Two children died after a wall collapsed at Taralahi village under Bahadurpur police station on Sunday.

Hunger strike

Gopalganj: The inmates of Gopalganj jail went on a huger strike from Sunday morning in protest of sub-standard food being supplied to them.

Attack

Patna: Unidentified men barged into the house of Ashish Ranjan, a CRPF commandant and fired two rounds besides breaking household articles. An FIR was lodged with Pirbhore police station.

Deaths

Chhapra: Three children— Baby Kumari (9) and Atma Kumari (2), and Miki Kumari— have died of diarrhoea within three days. All patients were from Lal Bazar Mushar Tola under Chhapra sadar block who died during treatment at Chhapra Sadar hospital.

Plastic ban

Patna: The government has has put its notification for ban on plastic on the official website of the forest and environment department.
