Glare on ad firm

Patna, June 21: Police have decided to crack the whip on a city-based company awarded the contract of setting up and maintaining the traffic posts.

Patna City superintendent of police (SP) Shivdeep Lande told The Telegraph today that Kraft Outdoor Media Pvt. Ltd had failed to comply with most of the provisions in the agreement signed for setting up and maintenance of the traffic posts.

A 10-year contract was signed between the police and the company in 2006. The company had to set up traffic posts at 14 locations. “The police will issue a showcause notice to the company,” the SP said.
