Guwahati, June 10: Assam education minister Himanta Biswa Sarma today visited the Seba office and instructed the board to streamline its functioning.
Sources said Sarma held discussion with the top officials and employees of Seba and instructed that students should not suffer and wait inordinately to get their works done at the board.
The minister said the government would give full support to Seba to convert itself into one of the best examinations boards in the country.
Seba chairman Mohsin Ali said the board would try hard to enforce the instruction issued by the minister. He said Seba was already working on a mechanism to finish examinations-related work within a stipulated deadline.
