That strawberries contain more vitamin C than oranges? These berries, which are in fact not berries or even fruit, belong to the rose family. They are also rich in potassium and folic acid. A hundred grams of strawberry contains 89.4 milligrams (mg) of vitamin C, which means that eight medium-sized strawberries can give us 96mg of vitamin C. That is almost 160 per cent of the recommended daily intake of the vitamin! On the other hand, one medium orange contains only 60mg.
