Patna: Two Maoists, including the zonal secretary CPI (Maoist), Yogi Singh, were arrested during an operation by the personnel of the Special Task Force and the Khagaria police on Tuesday. ingh was carrying a reward of Rs 25,000 on his head, director-general of police Neel Mani said.

Patna: The School of Social Sciences and Policy, Central University of Bihar, held a symposium on International Women’s Day on Tuesday in collaboration with the Marginalised, an institute for Alternative Researches and Media Studies. Patna: Additional director-general (training) Abhyanand was admitted to a heart hospital at Kankerbagh in Patna after he complained of severe pain in his chest. His condition is stated to be stable.

Order

Patna: The property attachment order issued against 11 accused in the killing of Maoists at Hiranmar diara in Munger district was executed on Monday. Neel Mani said the arrest warrants had been obtained against the rest of the four accused. The six other accused were earlier arrested and forwarded to jail.

Murder

Patna: A constable posted at Tiar police station in Bhojpur district Ram Kumar Singh was suspended on Tuesday for allegedly killing his uncle at his native village in neighbouring Buxar district on Monday.
