Foodies’ haven
If you are a street-food junkie, this one’s right up your lane. t2 Food Path, the light-bite festival presented by KKN Group of Companies, starts off at noon on Saturday and continues till 9pm, long after the shops have downed shutters at Forum. Dishing out their specialities will be some of the most famous snack stops of the city. While Kusum Rolls of Park Street will hold out hot kathi rolls, a phuchkawallah from Russell Street will rustle up the tangy little treats. Hamro Momo from Lee Road will serve steaming hot dumplings and a chaatwallah from Lord Sinha Road will churn out a masala mix. Among your other must-try items are telebhaja from Ashoke in Dalhousie and bhel puri from Shankar Chaat Centre (the Dhakuria Lakes). So, mark the yummy day-out in your diary.
