The Natural Way

I’ll be turning 40 soon. Could you please suggest something to get rid of the dryness in my hands and feet?

Geeta, e-mail

One of the most wonderful things I discovered when I turned 40 was to use a sesame oil to which one has added 2 drops of sandalwood oil. Massage well into the hands last thing at night and wear cotton gloves. If your hands are really looking dehydrated, massage with 1tsp each of honey and fresh cream until it has been absorbed into the skin and brush warm paraffin wax onto the hands. Leave for 20 minutes and peel off...and don’t forget to let someone hold your hands the whole evening!

I am 16. Is there any natural way to get sparkling white teeth?

Tivo, e-mail

Brush your teeth twice a day and go in for regular dental check-ups. Never sleep with any sweets or chocolate residue in your mouth as this builds up plaque. There are salt toothpastes that have been developed but I am sure they follow my basic theory of using a bit of salt with lemon peel to scrub the teeth. Done daily for a week you will see great results.
